YMCA Camp Lincoln

YMCA Camp Lincoln is part of the Southern District YMCA. Our organization offers programs and activities for all ages at the Exeter Area YMCA; School Aged Child Care at 15 before —and/or- after school programs; a traditional community supported agriculture (CSA) program and farm based education at Willow Pond Community Farm; and summer day camp and year-round outdoor education programs at Camp Lincoln. We strive to serve as a vibrant “center of community” for creating connections among and between youth, teens, adults, seniors and families by offering high quality programs and services.

YMCA Camp Lincoln, located in Kingston, NH since 1926, offers a traditional camp experience supported by enthusiastic and capable staff, diverse activity choices and a healthy environment. Campers enjoy a safe, supportive environment to develop leadership skills, build life-long friendships and gain self-confidence.

In 2017 Camp Lincoln will offer 10 weeks of traditional summer camp from June 19 to August 25. This includes two 1-week sessions and four 2-week sessions. Other summer programs include specialty camps, counselor in training (CIT) leadership programs, and overnight teen adventure trips. Over 1,500 campers ages 3-15 will attend these summer programs. In addition, 80 staff members work in positions ranging from counselors to program leaders to support the needs of our campers. In 2017, we will employ staff representing 6 countries.

YMCA Camp Lincoln has always been accepting of individuals from all backgrounds and our camper population mirrors the racial makeup of the surrounding communities. With a commitment to serving underserved communities, an additional $10,000 has been allocated for scholarships in 2017. An area for further development addressed is to focus on serving children from underserved races/ ethnicities. We are offering full tuition assistance for a 2-week session to recipients.

Camp Lincoln would like to offer 20 full scholarships for students from underserved racial/ ethnical backgrounds for 2 weeks each. This would include 5 scholarships for each of our 2-week sessions. Registration fees, and transportation on any of our 10 bus routes will be included. Our Office Manager and Camp Director will assist with the registration process and communicating with families and schools.
